About This Idea
Many people do not have a trusted believer who can counsel them God's Way. I’m building a way for people to access trusted believers for one-on-one biblical guidance, solving the problem of feeling alone by offering hope, clarity, and Christ-centered support through life’s challenges.
Where Did This Idea Spark at WMU?
I cannot recall exactly where this idea sparked from. However, my husband invited me to a training at Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries through International Association of Biblical Counselors. I do most of my thinking in the mornings and while working out at West Hills Athletic Club.
Impact in Kalamazoo
If this works in the Zoo, everyone wins! Especially students and young adults in Kalamazoo who gain hope and direction, local churches that see deeper discipleship, and trusted believers who get a clear way to walk with others toward Jesus through real-life challenges.
How Investment Helps
With funding, it becomes possible to build a simple system to connect people with one-on-one biblical counseling, and sustain consistent outreach. These resources can help strengthen visibility and credibility.
The first local milestone I'll hit is helping change lives. I can help students and other adults who cannot afford the service gain free access to trusted, one-on-one biblical support, ensuring that hope, guidance, and care through God’s Word are available to them. Regardless of financial restraint.
What I'll Do With the Money
Platform & operation– 50% – Build and maintain a simple system for matching, scheduling, and follow-up.
Outreach & awareness – 40% – Reach students and community members who need hope but don’t know where to turn.
Scholarships / free care fund – 10% – Ensure those who cannot afford the service receive support at no cost.
About the Founder
Mrs. Candace Moore is a woman who leads with heart, purpose, and faith. She is currently working on her PhD in educational leadership, focusing on higher education. This moment brings together her academic training, leadership, faith, and deep compassion to meet that need now. Especially when isolation is high, trust is low, and the need for Christ-centered support has never been greater.
